Taurus Season 2026: Abundance, Embodiment, & Being Well-Resourced
It's time to root into your new reality and create wealth from within.
Taurus season 2026 is here.
As the fixed earth sign of the zodiac this season anchors us into the astrological new year. It is a time of planting seeds and steady progress.
Taurus is:
Ruled by Venus
Symbolized by the bull
Governs the throat
Feminine polarity
Earth element
Fixed modality
Taurus energy asks for more abundance, embodiment, patience, practicality, simplicity, and sensuality and it asks for less airiness, chasing, complexity, disembodiment, overcommittment, and scatteredness.
The Moon is exalted in Taurus as the grounded and calm nature of Taurus is ideal for the Moon’s need for emotional safety and steadiness. Taurus is also the most naturally embodied sign of the zodiac and the Moon is the planet (or luminary) most associated with being in our physical bodies. This makes sense because in ancient astrology the Moon represents the material realm or matter whereas the Sun represents the spiritual realm or spirit.
This exaltation is part of the reason why Taurus energy can be misunderstood as being gluttonous and lethargic… but in reality Taurus knows that we came to the material world for a reason so we better slow down and enjoy it as this desire for connection to our bodies and the material realm goes much deeper than what we’ve been conditioned to think when reflecting on pleasure and materialism.
The higher expression of Taurus knows that true abundance and inner wealth come from our ability to be present and to cultivate a sense of enoughness within. We live in a society that has done everything it can to ensure we are disembodied so this is much easier said than done but it can be accomplished. It is also very necessary to learn how to anchor in and stay connected to our bodies as we head into this time period of accelerated change and global conflict.
I share this not to fear monger but to inform (even though at this point I am sure that you don’t need any more informing about what is going on in the world). As someone with a Taurus Sun, Moon, and Venus I have learned the hard way the cost of not listening to my body and I’ve also learned that no amount of material consumption is satiating enough to calm my fears or make me feel like I’m worthy. Being well-resourced is an inside job and this will continue to be true for as long as we inhabit these human bodies.
If you haven’t already awakened to this truth you just might in the next couple of days or over the course of this Taurus season as the collective themes of this season are abundance, embodiment, and being well-resourced from within.
We are still coming out of the energy of the New Moon in Aries where we’ve all been pushed to get real with ourselves and be willing to go all in on building the life we want and the world we want to live in. This has been the ideal time to work through any ego stories and internal frustrations getting in the way of becoming the person you want to be.
Right now we are also experiencing the triple conjunction of Mercury, Mars, and Saturn in Aries as well. Aries energy can be quite activating and intense at times and in ancient astrology Mars and Saturn are known as the malefics or more challenging planets. Some astrologers would look at this conjunction as quite difficult but I think it’s important to remember that Mars and Saturn can be very constructive planets to work with when we take the time to understand them and respect them.
Mars is igniting us to be bold, be brave, and do it scared while Saturn is here to slow us down, make sure we improve our focus, and stay the course. Mercury will be leaving Aries in a couple of weeks and Mars will be leaving this sign in a month but Saturn will be here for another 2 years and during this time we will continuously be reminded that direction is more important than speed. Let’s not forget that we will also have Neptune in Aries this entire time there to burn our inner flame and keep us inspired.
The biggest transit of this Taurus season though is Uranus re-entering Gemini on April 25 where it will remain until 2033. We already got a preview of this transit last year when Uranus was in Gemini from July 7 to November 7 so you can reflect back on that time period to see how the Gemini part of your chart was impacted and what changes or shake ups you may be able to expect once it re-enters this sign.
Before Uranus leaves Taurus though we will see Venus meet up with it at 29° of this feminine earth sign on April 23. Uranus is the planet of awakening, change, and liberation. Taurus is the sign of money, the body, and physical comfort. We’ve had many opportunities over the last 7 years while Uranus has been in this sign to change our relationship to these things but it hasn’t been easy. This last conjunction will provide us with the opportunity to have a quantum cosmic shift around our self-worth, values, and money.
As I mentioned earlier true abundance and inner wealth come from our ability to be present and to cultivate a sense of enoughness within. It’s from this place of embodiment and presence that external abundance can flow in with much more alignment and ease. So do your best to slow down, get into your body, and do some deep somatic healing and inner work around Taurean themes. You will feel deeply supported to do this alongside Jupiter in Cancer as well and all the planets moving through Taurus soon will be forming supporting sextiles to this auspicious planet.
The Full Moon in Scorpio will be on May 1 and the New Moon in Taurus at the end of the season will be on May 16 highlighting the Taurus-Scorpio axis in our charts. The Taurus-Scorpio axis is one of material and spiritual alchemy so this will be a potent lunation cycle to work with for working through scarcity consciousness and becoming well-resourced from within. “They” are doing everything they can to make sure people stay living in fear and don’t lift the veil on money so this work is more important now than ever before.
